The following are experiences not listed on my resume.
College
Throughout college, I combined my passion for all things 2 wheeled with my entrepreneurial side to start a business buying and selling motorcycles. Over four years and after 150+ sales, I have gained countless lessons in marketing, sales, customer psychology, and customer satisfaction.
In my final two years of college I became very involved in e-bike building. Although mainly for my own enjoyment, I also turned this hobby into a source of income. I had many interactions with suppliers across the globe, and frequently navigated the struggles of international importing through customs.
High School
Throughout my high school years, I operated a store on eBay selling golf equipment. This venture sparked my interest in data. Careful sales records of who, what, when and where were kept and inventory purchases were adjusted accordingly. I learned many valuable lessons in marketing, e-commerce, communicatation with international manufacterers, and fulfilling orders.
Coaching youth lacrosse teams taught me the importance of team-work, communication, assertiveness, and helped develop crucial leadership skills.
Serving as a varsity team captain taught me the importance of hard work, setting a good example for others, and motivating peers to work towards a common goal.
